Wilderness Quest 2022 will cut back the complexities of your life and force you to fall back on the forgotten innate human ability to excel in the wilderness.
Build your own woodland shelters, learn open-top canoe skills & experience Europe’s last official wilderness… oh… and witness some of the idyllic scenery Scandinavia has to offer!
The 5-Day Canoe Challenge will:
- Expose character…
- Foster appreciation & gratitude…
- Ignite an adventurous spirit…
- Install personal pride!!!
This short video provides an insight into Wilderness Quest which was inspired by Wilderness Eagle, a leadership and adventure training expedition delivered by the RAF.
I was inspired to set up this trip after completing a similar canoeing experience with my eldest son Danny in 2017 in Sweden. It was amazing how much we could learn about ourselves and each other when life is stripped back to you a paddle and the river to navigate. The whole trip was packed full of useful analogies and thought-provoking moments which left me inspired and regenerated.
The added challenge of the target miles is an added bonus. I am a firm believer that we all need challenges in our lives to feel inspired and this canoe challenge will allow anybody of any level to try something new, succeed and feel proud at the end.
I look forward to paddling and coaching you throughout the trip.
